DON'T Contextualize Christianity?

This is an interesting take on what it means to share the gospel. Pastor John Piper says that the gospel "DOES NOT" need to be contextualized. Is this true? Watch the video below and tell me what you think.

I guess it all depends on what Piper considers to be the contextualizing that is so bad. I think much can be done to present the Gospel, in light of the hearer's background and culture, but without detracting from the Gospel. I do think some have gone too far, though. For instance, when the Gospel is repackaged into New Age religions and naive people still think it's the valid gospel, when really it's recycled Hinduism.
