Really?

I am curious to hear what bothers you most about this video.

1) Where's Jesus? On second thought, maybe his Name shouldn't be tangled up in this mess...

2) "God" relying on worldly technology (weathervane, prayer channel and laser pointer on globe).

3) The personification of an animal... wait: a mere stuffed animal... to fulfill the command given to mankind (again, see #1: ignoring the Commander). Partially excused under the genre of children's cartoon.

Well... it is too obvious. The mysterious need from children is fulfilled with holy bears, and it doesn't explain the void they fill. At the beginning it claims that the role of the holy bear was mysteriously sparked by God for a mysterious reason.

The main problem as asked for would be in my opinion the mystery of the meaning/reasoning of the holy bears in the first place.

(I haven't logged on this blog in some time, and one of the first things I comment on is this... lol)

This is among common cartoonish reductionism that takes divine conversation into an imaginary realm populated by such as Sponge Bob and Bart Simpson. The piece therefore lessens and insults the character of the Almighty. I would certainly rail against any Sunday School, or VBS use!
